Cook the French fries in two times for a maximum crunchy
Once you have added the oil to your deep fryer, make sure that the temperature reaches 160oC before adding your fries. This will allow you to cook the inside of your French fries without browning them. Once they have reached the top of the oil, remove them and let them rest.
For the second phase of cooking, increase the temperature of your oil bath between 180 and 190 degrees Celsius. Then put the fries back in the deep fryer for about 2 to 3 minutes, until golden. Once they are cooked, take them out of the deep fryer and season them with salt according to your preference. And now they're ready to be consumed.
What about baking fried in the oven?
If you prefer not to use a deep fryer, or if you want to opt for a healthier alternative, you can cook your fries in the oven. Place the French fries (which must first be dried with a cloth) on a baking tray covered with baking paper, making sure that they do not touch. Water them with a little olive oil and cook them for 25 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. This same method of cooking can also be used to prepare delictable french fries of parmesan zucchini.
Good luck.
