The freezer is a very practical device when you think about it. You can put foods that are about to breathe out to eat at a more opportune time, allowing them to last longer. The problem is that there is so much that we put in that that some foods stay there longer than necessary and find it becomes a real archaeological dig. Except that contrary to conventional wisdom, it is not because it is frozen that it will necessarily be good to eat in several months. Some foods do not keep in the freezer indefinitely due to taste loss and bad bacteria. Here are 8 examples that we are focusing on.
Storage in the freezer: beware of certain foods?
Summary
(1) Unprepared meat

The
pork or lamb ribs and unprepared meat in general such as beef or poultry may be stored for approximately 8 months. Freezing alters taste and texture over time (because of the water introduced into food) and even if freezing calms the proliferation of microbes, it is not completely stopped and can therefore be left with food poisoning. Therefore, it is important not to wait until the last moment to freeze your meat. If you plan to do so in any case, do so immediately after the purchase and do not wait for the product to be at the end of its expiry date.
