Cook the base
Line a cooking dish (approximately 23 x 23 cm) of baking paper, allowing a little to be protruded to facilitate later demolding.
Pour the dough into the prepared dish, using a spatula to spread it evenly. This ensures uniform cooking and a homogeneous texture.

Place the dish in the preheated oven and cook for about 35 minutes. You will know that it is ready when the top is golden and that a toothpick inserted in the centre is clean.

Prepare the trim
While the base is cooling, let's prepare our decadent trim. Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a microwave bowl with the butter.
Heat in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring between each cooking, until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat, as this may cause the chocolate to grab.

Incorporate the chopped nuts. This adds a delicious crunchy and a healthy fat intake and protein.

Assembling and cooling down
Once the base is completely cooled, pour the chocolate and walnut mixture over the top, spreading it evenly using a spatula.
Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the filling to take. This not only facilitates cutting, but also improves the overall texture and flavor.
