Is your bath towel really clean? We use it every day after the shower, but do we really know how many days we need to change it? A moist towel promotes bacterial growth if it is not changed regularly. Find out about the optimal washing frequency and discover the little-known dangers posed by a poorly maintained towel.
What happens if you don't change your towel regularly?

Propagation of bacteria and mould
Your towel absorbs moisture, dead cells and soap residue after each shower. If it does not dry properly, it will become an ideal habitat for bacteria such as E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus.

Risk of skin irritation
Poor towel may cause redness, itching and pimples due to the accumulation of bacteria and debris. People with sensitive skin and acne are particularly vulnerable.

Allergic reactions and breathing problems
Mould on a wet towel can cause allergies, causing sneezing, irritation and even asthma attacks in susceptible individuals.
