Harnessing natural light
Avoid artificial light as possible. To do this, sit near a window to read or work, so you can enjoy the outdoor lighting while it is still daylight. The sunlight will warm you up and give you a sense of well-being.
Also consider using curtains or fine blinds to allow sunlight to illuminate your interior.

Give light colors to your walls. So they're not going to absorb sunlight, but they're going to think about it. Your rooms will therefore be brighter and will appear more spacious.
Also consider placing mirrors in the best-lit areas of your home to allow reflection of sunlight and distribute it in the darkest areas of the house.
Avoid decoration that clumps your interior and prevents sunlight from infiltrating your home. This is particularly the case for high furniture which certainly dress the vast spaces, but which prevent the light from infiltrating the room.
These gestures therefore allow you to bring better lighting to your interior, but also to save on electricity, in order to lighten your bill.
