Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius and grease a baking dish of 23 x 33 cm.
Heat a medium saucepan on the stove over medium-high heat.
Put oil in a frying pan, heat it up and add the onions. Bring the onions back until golden.
Crush and chop the garlic, then mix it with the onions. Mix and cook until it smells good.
Put flour on the onions and mix them. Stir briefly, then slowly pour the chicken broth while stirring. Add the milk while stirring.
Let the mixture heat and thicken.
Add the sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper and mix well. Allow the mixture to boil until the cheese melts and thickens. Taste the food to make sure it contains enough spices.
Add the parsley and mix.
Mix the grated potatoes with the molten cheese in a large bowl, then spread the mixture in the baking dish. Make sure everything is evenly distributed.
Add a little more cheese on the top and bake the pan in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes, until it is golden and bubbles form on the edges
