What happens to germs?
We all know that when we fire on the chain, the tank ensures that the toilet water flows into the bowl.
However, this simple gesture can cause the propagation of germs throughout the bathroom.
Therefore, if we do not want our bathroom to become an amusement park for unwanted germs, we can minimize their spread by flushing the flush only after closing the lid.
Water economy
For those who don’t know, flushing the toilet requires between 3 and 10 liters of water, it depends a lot on the tank that we have installed in our bathroom.
Even so, if every time we go to urinate, we waste 3 to 10 liters of water, remember that it's drinking water, by the end of the day, we'll have wasted about 80 liters of water. This calculation is individual, so we have to imagine the expenditure that would result from it with a family of four people who use the bathroom several times a day.
Wastening water in this way is bad not only for us, but also for the whole ecosystem. For this reason, a lower flushing frequency, or at least a reduction, is an excellent way to reduce water wastage, especially when this is not necessary.
