Warning signs often ignored
Contrary to popular belief, a stroke does not always begin with sudden paralysis. Here are some subtle signs that should immediately warn:
- Sudden numbness or weakness on one side of the body.
- Unexplained profligate profligate or loss of balance.
- Difficulty in talking or understanding a conversation.
- Sudden vision problems.
- Intense headaches without apparent cause.
To be taken into account: Every minute counts in the case of stroke. If in doubt, call the emergency room immediately.
