Here’s how to use a tea bag to keep insects and rodents away

If tea is not your strong, you can get the same results with peppermint essential oil. Spiders and mice hate its smell. Put 10 to 15 drops of peppermint oil in a water-filled spray bottle and spray it around the baseboards. Not only does it help keep spiders and mice away, but your house will smell good. In addition to these tricks, there are other techniques to avoid attracting spiders and mice to your home.

Keeping the spider’s shelters apart
A good way to prevent spiders from entering your house is to make sure that there is no environment around your house that could attract spiders. Spiders often make their nests outdoors in plants, piles of leaves or wood, or undisturbed dark spots such as old tires or buckets.

Butches for holes
Identifying and sealing possible entry points is also important for keeping spiders and mice outdoors. This could involve plugging small holes or cracks with caulking, and making sure that doors and windows close very well without any space.
