Unfortunately, mice can carry diseases and bacteria. One of the dangers of having mice in your living space is the contraction of lymphocytic choriteningitis. Simply put, lymphocytic choriteningitis is a disease that you may get into contact with mouse urine, excreta, saliva, or materials used to nest with infected mice.
The initial symptoms are similar to those of common flu: lack of appetite, headache, nausea, vomiting. But they can degenerate into a neurological condition.
Even if you don’t see them, mice could have walked all over your kitchen counters with their dirty legs. This is a health risk if your home experiences a rodent infestation.
