1. Frequent washing
Regular washing of bed linen is essential to reduce the presence of mites. It is advisable to wash sheets, pillowcases and blankets at least once a week with hot water (at least 60oC). The high temperature kills dust mites and removes allergens.

Investing in mattresses and anti-mite pillowcases can be very beneficial. These products are designed to prevent dust mites from penetrating and proliferating into mattresses and pillows. Make sure you wash them regularly as instructed by the manufacturer.
