Whiten them with this method

How many times have you noticed that your pillows have yellowed and you don't know how to bleach them?

To wash the cushions safely and gently and especially dryly, we advise you to use an ingredient that you probably have at home: we are talking about hydrogen peroxide.

What you need to do is check the pillow label to see if it says that it absolutely should not be washed with this substance. In fact, certain types of pillows, such as goose down, can be damaged if washed with hydrogen peroxide.

Now, all you have to do is mix 1 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide with 1 cup of warm water in a bowl. Then soak a sponge and start massaging the pillow gently to make the solution penetrate into the fiber.

You can also decide to dip the cushion into the water, but we advise you not to do so if you want to do this dry procedure.

Now wipe the cushion with a dry cloth and let it dry in the air, perhaps in a shady area, thus avoiding exposing it to direct sunlight or putting it in the dryer to avoid ruining the original shape of the cushion.

It is important to note that hydrogen peroxide may decolor certain tissues, so we recommend that you test only one part of the cushion first before using it over the entire surface.

We also remind you that hydrogen peroxide loses its effectiveness over time and it would therefore be better to always use a fresh solution to achieve optimal results.
