How to prepare pork and potato skewers
Step 1
Start by placing the food film on a cutting board and place the pork scallops on top. Then cover with another layer of food film and beat them with a meat hammer.
Step 2
Once you are finished, season the escalopes of salt and pepper while taking care to season both sides.
Step 3
Slice the potatoes.
Step 4
Then slice the onions.
Step 5
Transfer the potatoes into a bowl and season them with salt, pepper, paprika and a generous fillet of olive oil. Then mix them with your hands to coat them evenly with their marinade.
Step 6
Start assembling the skewers. Place two skewers on a cutting board and start your towers by adding the potatoes, then the pork escalope, the onion slices and a slice of bacon.
Step 7
Repeat the process until both skeins are completely covered with the ingredients.
Step 8
Cover the meat with a sheet of baking paper, place it in a baking tray and start baking in an oven at 374oF (190oC) for approximately 60 minutes.
Step 9
Meanwhile, inside a small bow, add the soy sauce, ketchup, mustard and honey for the marinade. Mix them with a teaspoon until they are well mixed.
Step 10
Once the 60 minutes have elapsed, remove the bully paper from the pork and potato skewers, then brush the marinade kebab along the entire length, using a kitchen brush. Bake in an oven at 374oF (190oC) for an additional 20 minutes.
Step 11
Serve on a serving dish and cut in half, before starting to portion it.
