Toilets are often prone to unpleasant odours and limestone deposits. Rather than using aggressive chemicals, there is a natural, economical, and environmentally friendly solution: the tea bag.
Why use a tea bag in the toilet?
Tea contains tannins with antibacterial and deodorant properties. When placed in the water, it releases agents that absorb bad odours and help to gently clean the bowl.
How to use it
After preparing and consuming your tea, do not throw away the sachet. Use it to maintain your toilet with one of the following two methods:
Method 1: Leave to act overnight
Place one or two tea bags directly into the bowl before going to bed.
Let them act all night to release their cleaning properties.
In the morning, remove the sachets and rub the walls of the toilet lightly with a brush.
Pull the flush: bad smells will be gone and the bowl will be cleaner.
