For further relaxation, another method consists in using sodium bicarbonate and white vinegar.
Mix 20 grams of sodium bicarbonate with one litre of hot water and pour this solution into a basin filled with warm water.
Slowly irritate the garment and stretch it gently with your hands.
After one hour, rinse it with a mixture of one litre of water and 250 ml of white vinegar.
Let it dry flat, away from heat sources.
A final trick is to use a mixture of white vinegar and capillary mask.
In a container, mix 125 ml of white vinegar with 50 ml of capillary mask.
Immerse the garment and let it soap for half an hour.
Stretch it slightly, then soak it for another hour before rinse it with cold water.
Dry it flat in the shade.
Thanks to these methods, it is possible to recover a garment made of wool and avoid throwing it away. Careful maintenance and a few simple gestures make it possible to extend the life of the wool garments while giving them their softness and elasticity.
