Pierre Palmade in prison: the comedian “a priority”, new revelations about his conditions of detention

Because of his notoriety and his psychological fragility, he was placed in solitary confinement. In the Belgian magazine Soir Mag published on Wednesday 5 February 2025, new revelations have been made on the actor’s detention conditions. According to the information of our colleagues, it would be a “priority” of the prison management.

“Nothing must happen to him during his time in prison,” it says in the columns of Soir Mag. According to the latter, Pierre Palmade is said to benefit from “special surveillance” and “very strict” conditions of detention. Thus, obliging the guards of the prison of Bordeaux-Gradignan to make “round every hour, day and night”, our colleagues said. Thanks to an internal note from the prison consulted by Le Figaro, other elements were revealed. According to the daily newspaper, the guards must record all the humorist’s actions and gestures, but also point out “any element that attracts attention” or “which seems to contradict the habits of the person concerned”. An experiment behind bars that risks tagging the 56-year-old man for life.
