Cerebrovascular accidents are extremely dangerous. You should therefore be vigilant and seek medical advice as soon as you notice any of these warning signs.
Every year, strokes are caused by many victims. This is a blockage or a breakup of a blood vessel in the brain due to a blood clot. At this stage, the cells will no longer receive irrigation or oxygen and will start to decline. This will have serious consequences for the body and will require immediate attention. If stroke appears to occur suddenly, some signs may occur approximately one month earlier.
The different types of strokes
Keep in mind that there is not a single type of stroke, but rather two or even three types:
Ischaemic stroke
Also known as cerebral infarction, it accounts for 85% of stroke cases. This is therefore the most common type of stroke. If the artery that irrigates the brain is obstructed by a plaque rich in cholesterol (atherosclerosis), it is a cerebral thrombosis. If it is blocked by a blood clot, it is called cerebral embolism.
