Effective tips for removing excess ice in your freezer
Excess ice in the freezer is a common problem that affects many homeowners. Even regular thawing does not always help, as the ice sometimes stays in place anyway, even after 4-5 days. But what can you do to avoid such problems? There is a relatively simple but effective way.
First of all, of course, it is necessary to de-icer and clean the freezer, because with proper care, it is enough to de-icer the old refrigerators only 1 to 2 times a year. The fastest and easiest way to thaw is hot water and brine.
Place a bowl of hot water in the freezer and prepare a solution by dissolving 2 tablespoons of salt in 1 tablespoon of water. The resulting saline solution is poured into a spray bottle and sprayed uniformly onto the walls of the freezer. After a few minutes, the ice gradually starts melting and can then be removed without damaging the surface using, for example, wooden sticks for sushi.
If you need to clean and whiten the plastic, you can use a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and sodium bicarbonate. This ordinary solution thoroughly cleans the plastic and does not damage it.
