2) Lower the heating
As we are accustomed to comfort, we tend to increase heating very strongly to develop in a warm and therefore pleasant environment. In fact, however, a temperature of 20, 21 or 22 degrees is not necessary under any circumstances. In a lounge like the living room, the ideal temperature is actually 19 degrees Celsius, or even less for the less fond of us. And in the bedroom, 17 degrees Celsius may be enough, except for small children who need a minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius.
Does it sound to you too cold? And yet, if you lower the heating by just one degree, you can save about 7% on your electricity bill. Not to mention the environmental benefits. Maybe it's worth putting on a slightly warmer sweater, right?
3) Use a smart thermostat
That is the solution of the moment. And for good reason, because with the advancement of technology, it is now possible to program your radiators so that they turn off at certain times and only in certain rooms. All this at a distance. And at best, there are even smart thermostats that monitor your heating consumption for you.
According to the Ecological Transition Agency (ADEME), the use of a connected thermostat would save energy for 5 to 15%. So why not?
