How to Use Diatomaceous Land to Kill Bug Bugs
- Choose food-grade diatom soil – Make sure you buy food-grade diatom soil, as industrial-grade diatom soil may contain harmful additives.
- Apply the DE strategically – Sprinkle the ED light along the edges of the mattresses, in cracks and crevices, behind the bedheads and near the plinths.
- Leave the powder to act for at least 3 to 5 days to ensure that the bed bugs come into contact with it.
- Do your vacuum – After a few days, draw the powder and the dead insects.
- Repeat if necessary – Reapply ED every few weeks until the infestation has completely disappeared.
