The awesome trick to make the bathtub as clean as it is on the first day

The big problem with shower walls is not dirt, but limestone that accumulates over time. To identify limestone deposits, you will notice white or dull spots that do not disappear. These include tiling, shower fittings and bathtub.

To remove these limestone spots, opt for ammonia. Also very popular for domestic maintenance, it is an excellent cleanser and disinfectant that will rid you of all the inlaid spots and yellowed enamel.

Pour 2 glasses of ammonia and 2 cups of hot water into a spray bottle. Shake and spray on all tartarred parts. Then leave the product to work for 5 to 10 minutes before rubbing it with a cloth or sponge. Finally, rinse thoroughly with cold water. Also make sure that the windows and the door are open to remove the fairly strong smell of ammonia.

Salt – What: spm

If your bathtub is full of limestone, we recommend the precious mixture of white vinegar and salt. The merging of the two will perfectly contribute to the cleaning of the tartarred areas of the bathtub. The big salt is well known to our grandmothers as a cleaning agent, disinfectant and degreasing. The same goes for lemon: this citrus has surprising advantages for shining and descaled the different areas of the house. Not to mention the fact that it also removes bad odours from mould and lets an fragrance escape from the room.

Pour two cups of white vinegar, one cup of hot water and lemon juice into a spray bottle. Also add three tablespoons of salt and mix the ingredients. This home cleanser will allow you to permanently eliminate the limestone. Just pour it over the bathtub and use a brush to rub.
For even more efficiency, bet on hydrogen peroxide, which is also powerful for cleaning and descaling. It will allow you to remove tartar and yellow spots from your bathtub. It is sufficient to spray it and leave it to act for 30 minutes, then to rinse it with warm water. You won’t even have to rub to get a shiny result.

Hydrochloric acid

To get rid of all this dirt, you can rely on hydrochloric acid. This colorless aqueous liquid is known to descale and disinfect sanitary facilities. But be careful, as this is a corrosive product with a very strong odour, it must be used with great care. It is better not to use it as a last resort if your bathtub is really very dirty. Remember to dilute it in water before applying it, wearing gloves and a mask, and especially ventilating the bathroom.
