There's an area in our bathroom that always makes me grind my teeth when I look at it. These are our doors and shower rails and the limestone and mineral deposits that have accumulated there. This is the brutal and non-judgemental truth, but I never really cleaned around the shower frame or door rails. How to clean the rails of a shower door? I was really not sure.

Years of neglect
So I'm pretty sure that when we moved into our house years ago, there were already build-ups on the frame and the tracks of the shower door. This combined with not knowing how to clean it or even if it could be cleaned and honestly, a little laziness, I just tried to ignore it. However, I finally realized that I had to try to tackle it. Below is my approach and my results.

Starting point
I tried to take pictures before, during and after. I don't feel like they're fully capturing the essence of the task at hand, but I'm going to give you a picture to start with an idea of what I was reserving for you.

I did some research online to find the best (and simplest) way to remove accumulation. I decided to start with the vinegar method. It seemed to me the simplest, and I already had vinegar on my hand, so I left.
