How to clean your shower doors with 2 simple ingredients.

The first step was to pour vinegar into the shower rails. My caterpillars have small holes to allow water to flow, so I clogged them with absorbent paper. It was not the perfect solution, for the water once again flowed the soaked paper towel, but it was doing quite a good job. A rag or something thicker than a paper towel will work better.

After letting the vinegar rest for about 30 minutes, I removed the paper towels that were blocking the drainage holes. Then I took a clean paper towel and erased the tracks. Most of the filth and spots inside the shower door rails were removed in one fell swoop. I grabbed a toothbrush and rubbed the hard-to-reach places that I couldn't reach with the paper towel. (If you don’t have an old toothbrush, I’ve found a multi-pack for 1 at Walmart.) There was still a small space under the door in the rail that I couldn't reach with the toothbrush. For the underside of the doors, I used a paper napkin soaked with vinegar and gently slipped it under the door in the rail. As I had already left the vinegar to rest in the traces, the fil was already detached, so it did not take much to clean it.

For the vertical rails, I untapped vinegar paper towels and pushed them into the rails and let them rest. Withdrawing the paper towels, I wiped the rails as I removed them, and then reused the toothbrush for the narrow corners.
