What is needed:
1 to 4 pounds of beef roast
Mix with salt and pepper.
olive oil, 2 tablespoons
1 sliced onion
3 sliced garlic cloves
2/3 cup beef broth
I recommend a stout or a wear, but do not hesitate to use the beer of your choice.
Two laurel leaves.
2 strands of fresh thyme
2 carrots peeled and cut into pieces
2 celery branches diced
To thicken, you can optionally add 2 teaspoons of cornstarch.
