Start by generously coating both sides of the roast with salt beef and pepper. The taste of the meat will be enhanced during cooking.
Heat the olive oil in a large pot or frying pan over medium-high heat. Grab the beef roast for three to four minutes on each side, or until golden, once the frying pan is heated. In doing so, you can seal the roast juices and get a delicious crust on top.
Once the meat has been seized, place it in a large rotisserie or a slow cooker. Then add the flavorings and liquid. Wrap the roast with the garlic and sliced onion.
Be sure to cover the roast halfway up the sides with the beef broth and beer. While the beef cooks in the beer and the broth, it will absorb the flavors of the beer and become tender and tasty.
If you want more flavor, add laurel leaves and fresh thyme strands. The fragrant herbs will contribute to the overall flavor of the dish.
Alternatively scatter the roast with the pieces of celery and carrot. In addition to improving the taste of the cooking liquid, these vegetables will also serve as a tasty accompaniment for the finished roast.
Third, put it in a slow cooker and cook it for 8 to 10 hours on low heat or 4 to 6 hours on high heat, covered, for a perfect roast beef. The meat will become very juicy and tasty thanks to the long cooking time.
