Roast the meat in a preheated oven at 325oF (160oC) for 3 to 4 hours, or until it is tender to the fork and breaks easily, if you are using a roasting pan. Make sure you cover it with foil.
The fourth optional step is to thicken the sauce. Once the beef roast is cooked to your taste, you have the opportunity to turn the cooking liquid into a luxurious sauce. Transfer the liquid from the simmer or rotisserie to a saucepan after removing the meat and vegetables.
Make a slurry by mixing the cornstarch and a few tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl. While the cooking liquid is simmering over medium heat, gradually incorporate the puree. Continue cooking, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens to the taste.
5. Introduce and savour: cut the roast beef into thick, juicy slices in the opposite direction to the fiber. Spread the slices over a dish and fill them with vegetables and sauce.
To popen the tempting sauce, serve your roast marinated with beer with mashed potatoes, butter noodles or crispy toast. Finally, sprinkle fresh grass, such as thyme or parsley.
