- In a bowl add the egg and sugar and mix with the electric beater until the sugar is dissolved. Add the lemon (zest), orange (zest), milk, orange juice and liquor, siev the flour and chemical yeast and continue mixing.
- Finally add the lard and knead the dough with your hands to obtain a smooth, non-sticky paste.
- Transfer the dough onto the work surface and spread it over a thickness of about one centimetre. With the 8 cm biscuit pancake, cut the rolled dough discs. And with the smallest, prick the middle to get the shape of the doughnut.
- Transfer the prepared doughnuts into the frying pan with hot oil and fry them until golden on both sides.
- Cover the doughnuts with sugar after frying and serve.
