As indicated, these cabinets are probably not ideal for objects that you are going to use twice a day, but that does not mean that they cannot contain objects that only come out of time. Think of the culinary robots, the mixers, the embotirs, etc.

Essential preservation and bakery products
Most food and canned products have an extremely long lifespan, which means that they can be stored here and you can forget them for a while. And how about essential bakery products that you may only use on weekends?

Cookbooks
Do you have a few cookbooks that you don't want to see hanging around? I have them, so I use the top compartment of my closet to store my books.

Pantry and spices
As we mentioned about canned food, there are probably items that you have in your pantry that can fit in such a closet. You may also consider getting a small spice holder to store your kitchen spices.
