Vinegar
White is a flagship product in the housekeeping sector, but it does not appear to have stolen its reputation. On the table of disinfectants and antibacterial agents is this white liquid that our grandmothers always used to polish, disinfect, descale and shine all the surfaces of the house. In addition, it may be a good alternative to bleach, which is irritating to the airways. To take advantage of the benefits when cleaning the mattress, and in particular to remove the odour of urine, start by pouring white vinegar into a plant sprayer, then spray that liquid on the mattress. Then sprinkle some sodium bicarbonate on top to absorb all moisture and also removes blemishes and bacteria. Allow it to stand for a few minutes before vacuuming.

The country of Sommières
For pressing, the land of Sommières is your best friend. It is a powerful stain remover from the most stubborn spots on clothing and textiles. Snap this product onto the mattress and let it penetrate for a few minutes. Brush the entire mattress in circular motions with a clean, soft bristle brush, then suck it up to clean the bedding.

Other stain removers and cleaning agents, such as hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, liquid soap such as Marseille soap or black soap, dishwasher and sodium hydroxide crystals, can also be used against stains on textiles. But for this, you have to wet and moisten the mattress and let it dry in the sun for hours. This is not always possible. In addition, even in small quantities, water can enter the different parts of the mattress and cause mould. This can cause allergies, breathing problems and many other discomforts.
