Measure the level of the break and cut the top of the plastic bottle at this distance.
Puncture holes around the cut bottle.
Heat the tip of a screwdriver or use another tool to drill the holes.
Place the cut part of the bottle on the mop and attach it with the same mop into the holes.
Insert the broken handle into the neck of the bottle and attach it with screws on both sides.
Ready. Your mop will be repaired and ready for use.
Repair with a plastic bottle (for broken stick in half)
If the handle of your mop is broken in half, you can also use a plastic bottle to repair it. Follow these steps:
Cut the ends of a plastic bottle and use the central part.
Open the bottle with a longitudinal cut.
Wrap the plastic bottle around the broken handle.
Attach the bottle to the handle with screws.
Slowly heat the plastic to stick to the handle.
Once the plastic has been glued, your handle will be reinforced and ready for use.
With these simple tricks, you can fix your broken mop quickly and cheaply. You'll never have to throw a mops in the trash again.
