If you apply garlic directly to your teeth you feel too intense, you can try a home-made mouthwash.
Preparation:
- Crushing a garlic clove and let it infuse in a glass of warm water for 5 minutes.
- Filter the water to remove the pieces of garlic.
- Make a mouthwash with this infusion for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then rinse with clear water.
Add a few mint leaves or a teaspoon of cider vinegar to neutralise the smell of garlic and enhance the antibacterial effect.
