Tim was not invited to Megan's wedding

The end of this story is not very happy. Tim learned that Megan had spent all of his parents' inheritance. He then made the decision not to pay the wedding dress, despite the promise he had made to Megan when she was a child. The couple married in a courthouse, without much ceremony and, above all, without inviting Tim.
