Use holes in the handles of your pans
You may have noticed that the handles of pans and frying pans often have holes. They have two functions. The first is to allow them to be suspended, but if they are not hooked, these holes may be used otherwise. Rather than leaving drops of sauce or soup on the counter, you can pass the utensils, like a wooden spoon, into the hole, leaving them to rest in angle to flow directly into the saucepan.

In 2021, an advertisement was widely distributed on the Internet warning drivers to place a plastic bottle on their car tires when parked. The reason was related to a series of car thefts using this ingenious method. By placing an empty bottle between the tyre and the bodywork, a cracking sound occurs when the car starts. The driver leaves the car to study the noise, leaving the lane clear for the thief to jump into the vehicle and leave with it. To avoid this tip, you can place a bottle of water there before the thieves, preventing them from targeting you. At least you'll be aware of their tactics.
