Because insects spread so quickly and people find it boring when they break into a house, they often run to the store to buy the first toxic insecticide they encounter.

Fortunately, there are faster and equally effective home remedies that are also much safer than in-store products.

Most of these solutions use pantry products and use a simple method to create a trap at which flies and mosquitoes cannot escape. To make such a trap, take a cup or jar, fill it with one of the solutions below, cover it with a plastic film and puncture several holes.

You can also choose to make a paper funnel trap by folding a piece of cone-shaped paper and fitting it well into the opening of a glass jar. The bottom of the funnel should be an opening approximately 2.5 cm wide and the tip should be about 5 cm from the bottom of the pot. Place the bait of your choice in the jar and watch the insects enter the funnel but cannot get out.
