White wine vinegar

To remove limestone and limestone deposits, the grandmother’s trick is to use white vinegar. To do this, fill the kettle with one part of vinegar and two parts of water.

Then boil the solution. Leave to stand for 10 minutes and discard the contents. Then rinse the kettle by boiling the water twice in a row. Then leave the device in the air.

Sodium bicarbonate

If you do not like the strong smell of white vinegar, you can clean the kettle with bicarbonate of soda.

To do this, we recommend that you proceed as for vinegar, but replace the yeast with vinegar. After cleaning, rinse twice.

Lemon juice or citric acid

Citric acid is also an excellent ally when you want a super clean teapot. To do this, mix 2 tablespoons of citric acid in 1 litre of water and leave it in the kettle for about 3 hours.

Empty the kettle and rinse it twice with boiling water. If you do not have citric acid, use lemon juice diluted in 1 litre of water.
