Meredith Langley hiked in Jeffries Creek Park in Florence, South Carolina, when she came face to face with frightening wildlife that prevented her from enjoying the flora.
A giant brown snake, several meters long and thicker than the root of a tree on which it placed its head, was hiding in the earth at the edge of the stream.
