“If they are cornered or attacked, they defend themselves by flattening their heads, hitting and shaking their tail in the leaves,” Foley told McClatchy News. “All these elements make them look dangerous to potential predators, in the hope that they will be left alone.
Referring to the snake's enormity, Foley added that it was "not unusual" and that "it would take several years to reach this size."
Whether they are large or small, mortal or not, all snakes are more beautiful when they are admired from afar.
Langley adds to his post that "a good rule of thumb is not to approach them if you can prevent it."
