7. Show that you have a safety system to protect the car
Anyone who stays away from danger, it is a natural instinct, let alone the thieves. If they see a sticker with an alarm or find a flashing light on the dashboard of the car, they will certainly avoid it. And you're told a trick, even if you don't already have an alarm, you can just put the sticker on the window.
However, be aware that professional thieves will find a way to turn off the alarm, if they really want your car, since they will simply cut off the battery cable connected to the alarm. But if you own an expensive car and you're afraid of that possibility, you can install a second battery, and you'll have the last word.
8. Place valuables in the trunk
As a general rule, we must bear in mind: “The thieves do not have time, and of course, they will not risk opening the trunk to find out what is inside. "They will steal what they think is precious inside the car." But not from the trunk, that's why we advise you to put in the trunk of the car items that may look precious to the thief, like bags, a coat, or your personal bag.
9. Always place your car in a well-lit place
Parking in a dark place will of course increase the risk of theft of the car. According to what the repentant thief says, he and his accomplices “did not steal cars parked in illuminated places, but preferred to choose cars parked in bright places”. That's why you always have to choose to park your car in a lighted place, to make sure that any attempt at break-in will be seen by someone.
