A city in flames
To date, the authorities have deplored at least 10 victims and nearly 10 000 buildings burned to the ground. Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their homes, while firefighters continue to fight this devastating fire relentlessly. Despite their efforts, the fire remains out of control, forcing local officials to introduce a mandatory curfew in the vacated areas.
This measure is aimed at protecting the inhabitants and preventing acts of looting in deserted neighbourhoods. Meanwhile, apocalyptic images of Los Angeles are circulating on social media, sparking a wave of emotion and solidarity. Calls for help are on the rise, from celebrities and citizens affected by this tragedy.

“My heart goes to everyone affected by these devastating fires in Los Angeles. In moments like this, it's crucial that we unite," she wrote with emotion. Celine Dion also shared practical information, including on emergency shelters and transport available for evacuees. It encouraged its subscribers to make donations to assist in claims.
With this initiative, the singer hopes to raise awareness of the gravity of the situation and encourage general mobilization.

Among the victims of the fire were many celebrities whose properties, located in fast-paced neighborhoods such as Pacific Palisades, had been destroyed. Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Miles Teller, Anthony Hopkins, and many others saw their homes go up in smoke.
Laeticia Hallyday, who resides in Los Angeles with her two daughters, Jade and Joy, was also hit hard by this tragedy. The villa where she lived and preserved many of Johnny Hallyday's memories was completely destroyed by the flames.
