Preparation
1. Prepare the dough:
- Preheat the oven to 180oC (350oF) and type the mold with baking paper.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, bicarbonate, spices, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until the mixture is light and frothy.
- Add the egg and mix well, then incorporate the molasses.
- Alternate the addition of dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
