Sanitary blocks can be expensive and often contain harmful chemicals that can be harmful to your health and the environment. Fortunately, there is a cost-effective and natural way to keep your bathroom cool, clean and free of bacteria and limestone. Follow these simple steps to create your own home-made ablutions that will last a long time and make your bathroom a nice and hygienic place.

Sanitary blocks to be made:

Equipment required:

Sodium bicarbonate Vinegar

White Essential oils (lavender, tea tree, mint, etc.)
Ice mussels
One bowl
One spoon
A dropper (optional)
Instructions for use:

Start by mixing a part of sodium bicarbonate with a portion of white vinegar in a bowl. The reaction between the two products will create an effervescent foam.
Add 10 to 20 drops of essential oils to the mixture. Essential oils will not only give your sanitary facilities a pleasant fragrance, but they will also have antibacterial and anti-limestone properties.
Stir the mixture well until you get a pasty consistency. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more vinegar. If it is too liquid, add a little more sodium bicarbonate.
Once you have the desired consistency, pour the mixture into the ice moulds. Make sure you pack the mixture well in the mussels.
Allow the toilet blocks to dry for at least 24 hours or until they are completely solid.
Once dry, remove the toilets from the moulds and store them in a sealed container until use.
How to use them:

To use your home-made ablution units, simply place one in the tank of your toilet. Every time you drain the water, the sanitary blockages dissolve slowly, releasing their fresh and clean fragrance into the bathroom and helping to fight bacteria and limestone.

With this economical and natural method, you will always have a bathroom that smells good, without having to spend a fortune in expensive toilet blocks filled with harmful chemicals. Try this do-it-yourself recipe and turn your bathroom into a welcoming and hygienic space for you and your family.
