An ordinary day that turns into a nightmare
On October 7, three-year-old Scarlett and his brother Henry, two, spent the day with their grandmother while their parents attend a wedding. There is nothing to suggest that this sweet autumn day will fall into horror. As they walk around the family's private aisle, a car emerges at an uncontrollable speed.
The grandmother, panicked, is desperately trying to protect the children. She waves her arms, screams, tries to grab Scarlett and Henry to protect them. But everything is going too fast. In a fraction of a second, the vehicle hits the three victims violently. Scarlett does not survive. His brother and grandmother, seriously injured, were rushed to the hospital.
