Lately, I've been thinking about our electricity bills, especially after discovering that our house's water consumption is well above average. According to statistics, one person usually consumes about 5 cubic metres of water per month, but our figures were different.
It all started when I told how I contacted the authority of the water about a fake receipt indicating that we were using 140 cubic metres of water in a month. The error was corrected and it turned out that our actual consumption was 47 cubic meters, which seemed incredibly high for three people.

When I thought about it, I decided to check for myself how our meter worked. I did it in a simple way: I memorized the last digit of the meter, I poured three liters of water into a glass and I checked the changes. The meter worked perfectly.
However, I noticed that we have a very high water pressure in our apartment, which is why the flow rate was higher than necessary. I decided to reduce the amount by closing the taps by half. This had no effect on our lifestyle, except that the water in the bathroom was filling a little more slowly.
