It's called the poor man's stew, but I feel so rich in eating it.

In a frying pan over medium heat, fry the ground beef until it is no longer pink. Drain the excess fat.
In the simmer, mix the beef, potatoes, carrots, onion and garlic.
Pour the beef broth and diced tomatoes, then add the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and thyme. Mix.
Cover and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours or until the vegetables are tender.
