Often, our bodies sends us signals to warn us of a danger. Whether it’s symptoms of a disease like a cold or signs that we risk being hit by a heart attack, our metabolism informs us with more or less subtle signals. It is therefore essential to listen to your body on a daily basis in order to detect them. To help you do this, here are the 9 early warning signs of a heart attack.
It is important to pay attention to your body when trying to warn us of a potential heart attack because it is a vital emergency requiring prompt medical care. In fact, there are nine signs of a heart attack that should alert you. An article by the German Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care (IQWiG) explains the factors that must be of concern to a person and those around them.
Extreme tiredness
Persistent and intense tiredness may be a sign, combined with other symptoms, of a future heart attack. If you feel tired without having practiced a lot of energy and/or without rest relieving you, this may be a forerunner sign.
Stomach pain
There is a causal link between stomach pain and nausea and the risk of heart attack. This symptom may last for months before the onset of the crisis and is as common in men as it is in women.
Insomnia
Insomnia is also a symptom that may presage a heart attack. Indeed, scientific research has shown that insomnia would increase the risk of suffering from a heart attack.
A short blast
If you notice that your breath is running short without exerting effort, this may indicate a potential heart attack. This is because, in the absence of a known condition (asthma, respiratory disorders, anxiety), it is a common symptom of a heart attack, as well as nausea and chest pain.
