As soon as there is metal, the rust is not far off. Whether it's on a knife, a bicycle, a motorcycle or a car, you can be sure that rust gets stuck there. Do you need to quickly remove these nasty rust spots? I'm sure you already have everything you need at home.
1. Citric acid
When contact with citric acid, the iron oxide reacts and the rust becomes colourless. To do this, it is sufficient to dilute 2 tablespoons of citric acid in 1/2 litre of hot water. Apply your mixture to the rust. Put a brush on it. All you have to do is rinse and dry well. There is another solution for removing citric acid. To do this, you must first put on a pair of household gloves to protect your hands. Then sprinkle a damp sponge with a teaspoon of citric acid. Soak your sponge in 1/2 litre of hot water. Spread it over the rusted area and then rinse and dry well.
2. Sodium bicarbonate and vinegar Put a tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate into a cup.
