To clean the roots of your plant, it is important to remove them thoroughly from the pot. Then remove any soil residue that sticks to the roots. This may be mulches, foams or bark used in the soil. Then rinse the roots with water to remove any adherent residue.

To do this, choose a transparent plastic jar to check the state of the roots regularly. The soil is preferably made up of pieces of bark, charcoal fibre, peat foam or even charcoal fibre. Also consider placing clay beads at the bottom of the pot to facilitate drainage. Make sure you water the pot slightly to moisten the soil.

To revive your orchid and help it flower again. It was important to provide it with favourable conditions for its development. To do this, place your orchid in a bright place and avoid direct sunlight. In fact, it could burn the foliage of your plant; on the other hand, prefer a half-share location. Since the orchid is not very resistant, it also needs warmth. Place the sauserole at a temperature between 18oC and 21oC, away from draughts, but also heat sources such as the radiator, which dries up the ambient air. In fact, the orchid appreciates humidity. It is also advisable to water your orchid with water without limestone, such as rainwater, and at room temperature so as not to cause a thermal shock that would damage your plant’s root system. In addition, spray the foliage of your orchid from time to time and leave no stagnant water in the saucer or pot. Also make sure you protect your orchid from parasites or parasites that destroy it, such as aphids or cochineals.
