Camilla in tears in King Charles's speech on the fight against cancer

Camilla cried at the end of her husband's 11-day royal tour and she in Australia and Samoa, with some sources reporting that there is a rather heartbreaking reason to her tears.

It is not just a tradition that forces older members of the royal family to keep their emotions under control when they are in public; it is almost a matter of protocol. Camilla, who is among the oldest generation of members of the royal family, is generally as stoic as King Charles, Princess Anne and the late Queen Elizabeth.

Yet the 77-year-old woman was unable to hold back her tears at a farewell ceremony in the village of Siumu, Samoa, while Charles – who fought cancer all year round – gave a moving speech after being given the honorary title translated as “supreme leader.”

According to RadarOnline, the reason for Camilla's unusual moment of raw emotion is that the queen consort is coming to the idea that the end of her husband's ephemeral reign as king may be prominent.

We would like to make it clear here that there has been no official confirmation that the battle against Charles’s cancer has taken a negative turn, nor any indication that the 76-year-old – who waited longer to mount on the throne than any heir to British history – is beginning to have serious difficulties.

That said, the salient facts are that Charles has been fighting a form of cancer that has been undisclosed since February, and there have been few or no updates regarding the success or failure of his treatments.

Why was Camilla crying?
