Filter the mixture into a liquid with a stamen.
Pour the liquid into a spray bottle and spray the areas of the house where the mice are likely to pass.
Do not use the mixture on carpets or furniture, as these may cause stains.
Sheets
Place the softening leaves in places where mice may be present. Experiments have shown that the smell of softening leaves repels mice. Replace them as soon as the odor disappears.
Balls
naphthaline balls are effective at repelling mice, but they are toxic. Use it sparingly if you have children or pets, and make sure they are out of reach.
Adopting or buying a cat
You probably know that cats lived with humans like this: they came to hunt mice in places where grain was stored. So let them do what they've been doing for thousands of years and bring a new hunting companion home. However, this method does not always work as expected, as some cats are not used to hunting mice.
You should also make sure that there is no food available for mice:
Keep your food in sealed containers.
Take the litter box out regularly.
Do not leave dirty dishes in the sink.
Sweep the kitchen floor and wipe counters, tables and other surfaces where there may be crumbs.
Store the bowls of pet food after eating.
Throw away or recycle old newspapers, magazines and other items that can be used by mice.
