Mix the white vinegar and water equally.
Wipe the floors, counters and areas where mice can wander.
4. Laurel leaves

Disperse a few laurel leaves in the placards, the corners of the pantry or under the household appliances. Their smell disturbs and repels the mice, which will prevent them from gnawing.

5. Steel wool - cayenne pepper

Plug the small holes or interstices with steel wool, then sprinkle with cayenne pepper. Mice cannot eat away at steel wool, and pepper has an irritating deterrent effect.

6. Cloves or clove oil

Place the whole cloves in small sachets or soak cotton balls of clove essential oil and place them near the plinths, under the sinks and in the cupboards. Their powerful fragrance keeps the mice away.

7. Onions

Cut a slice onion and place it in areas where you suspect mice. Replace it every two or three days as the odour fades.
